Inspirational Card for a Friend

He everyone.  It's me Jeannie with a fun type of card.  I'm sure you've seen many versions of this side step card.  I used the dimensions from PaperCompulsions to create my base, shown below.

After I created the base, I stamped my image, Prima Girl Gardenia, colored it in with my InkTense Colored pencils and found this phrase on Pinterest:

I want to give this card to a friend who is starting on a path that will sure to give her some not so great days...
So I altered the phrase for her, now it says:

She’s a strong person, but every now and then

she’ll need a person to take her hand and say,

 “Everything’s going to be alright"

Here is how the card turned out after I created the different levels on the right hand side of the card.

I love how this all came together.

I'm hoping to give this to my friend today...Let's hope she likes it.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today.
This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana with today's Bloom Girl Post.

  3. Beautifully created and I am sure it will be so enjoyed by the recipient. And, I think part of the joy of our craft of card making is the hope that what we have made will make someone's day brighter! I think you certainly succeeded with this card design.
