Hello crafty friends!
Mindy, here. I have an altered notebook to share with you. I will be completely honest. About 20 min into this project I was like ok, I'm done... this looks HORRIBLE! I almost turned off the camera. Then I was like you know what.. let's go with it.. I can always delete the video and start over.. I might as well try some new ideas and techniques. So I did and I'm so glad I did, too!

Here's my notebook I came up with.

I have used my Bloom Girl Sharon Stamp. Which I just LOVE! I colored her in using my Copic. The flowers and papers are by Prima. This collection is so super cute, it's called Coffee Break.

Tomorrow I'll be heading out to Puerto Rico and this is actually one of the projects we are making this Saturday at Scrapbooking Gallery PR.

Don't forget we have our Challenge for this month. If you'd like to win this amazing goodie package from Jamie Dougherty play along and use your favorite Bloom Girl to enter!

Zombie Bloom Girl Gardenia.

Hi there crafty peeps It's Mindy here!

Since we have a gorgeous color combo/inspiration board I thought I'd make a Halloween Card. I used the Gardenia Bloom Girl Stamp. I wanted to make her look like a vampire or zombie, so I colored her lightly in my skin tone colors E11, E00, E000 then I went back with W5, W3, W1 and W00 to give her that 'dead pasty look'. I love the way it turned out. I had some flowers on this, but I thought it took away from the image, Soooo this was a no flower card. Shocking, right!?

Remember ..you don't have to use a Bloom Girl Stamp to enter.. and you could win a fabulous prize from Jamie Dougherty!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Mixed Media with DT Mindy.

Happy Wednesday, all!

It's Mindy here and I have a project to share. It's something I NEVER do. I completed a project and left it 'uncolored'! Wowzers! So, not like me, I know.
I used my Gelatos and I really love these nifty little things! The colors are gorgeous, I just love the way they blend. I used my favorite Bloom Girl 'Summer'. I love this stamp, she's so beautiful and you can do so much with her.

If you haven't gotten this stamp yet you can find out where to get this one and any of Jamie's other Bloom Girl Products HERE.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.

Mixed Media Wood Piece with DT Mindy!

Hello there Bloom Girl Friends!

Today I have a wall hanging to share. I actually found a 6x7 piece of wood and covered it will all sorts of goodies. I had this piece of Prima paper that had this beautiful border which I never could cover up. So I decided to stamp Bloom Girl 'Karlie' in my Desert Sand Memento ink and have at it with my Copics. I really distressed my paper edges and laid a piece of cheesecloth under my paper before gluing it on the piece of wood.

I added some Prima Wood Pieces for some different textures.
I also found this quote, it was a sticker and I cut it up and added some more dimension. I just love the quote, I think it fits the image perfectly!

I cut the clock out of the same paper and then added some flowers all around. I did add some Crackle Accents and molding paste all around the edges everything! It's a little hard to see in the photo though.

We will be back Friday with some more inspiration from our fabulous designers!
